Paul Gallen vs Justis Huni Fight live online tv coverage

Paul Gallen may have claimed an impressive win over former heavyweight champion Lucas Browne, but Justis Huni’s camp warns the former NRL star will barely last five rounds.

Gallen is undefeated after 12 professional fights but faces the greatest challenge of his career against the rising Huni, who has been widely backed as the overwhelming favourite to win the bout. Gallen vs Huni fight

The pair are set to take to the ring on June 16 at the ICC Exhibition Centre in Sydney.

Gallen vs Huni

After watching Justis Huni dismantle Christian Tsoye to retain his Australian heavyweight title, Paul Gallen declared he is more confident he can defeat the Olympic-medal hopeful next month.

Huni’s father and trainer, Rocky, instructed the Australian champion to back off when it appeared he could have stopped Tsoye to give his son ‘more time under the lights’.

Gallen, who is now confirmed to fight Huni on June 16, sat ringside as a member of the commentary team for the media-only event in Sydney.

The 39-year-old NRL legend conceded the Queenslander was ‘impressive’ but claimed he spotted weaknesses in the 22-year-old’s game.

“Yeah without a doubt, I saw things tonight that I can exploit,” Gallen said at a joint press conference with Huni.

“The pace that I’m going to go at is a whole lot faster than what Chris went tonight and once I get on the inside I’m going to be able to keep punching.

“Justis didn’t like that at times on the inside tonight, he wanted to tie it up and then the referee broke it up and the fight went back to the range which is good for Justis.

“I’ve got to keep going forward, keep that pressure on and get inside and fight him.

“It’s a fight, Christian didn’t make it dirty enough tonight.”

Gallen added: “He was good, he was impressive. Range is where he wanted to fight tonight and that’s where he wants to fight me, keep me on the outside.

“But I saw things from Christian Tsoye tonight that I can exploit, that I can do hopefully better than what Christian did tonight.

“I’ve got to go forward on him, it’s pretty obvious and I have the fitness and the ability to continue going forward and continue that pressure.

“When they got broken up tonight, Tsoye probably stood a little bit still, he didn’t have that much head move and Justis with a lightening-fast jab just picked him off for a lot of the night.”

Huni declared his outing ‘a very good performance’ and shrugged off Gallen’s newfound confidence.

“They can say what they want to say but it’s the actions, actions speak louder than words,” Huni said.

“… Everyone’s style is different and if you know boxing styles make fights.

“But the way I look at it, it’s going to be pretty similar to what went on tonight.

“He said he was going to bring a little bit more pressure but that just means he’s going to walk into more punches.”

“I’ve prepared my whole life for this. I feel like I work better under pressure, so we’ll just have to wait and see and see if game plan goes to plan.”

Sydney Superfight Gallen vs Hunt Biggest Boxing Fight Online

Mark Hunt’s legal stoush with the UFC is far from over after he provided an update on the situation on Wednesday. Gallen vs Hunt live

Gallen revealed to Wide World of Sports just how close he came to going under the knife, before backing out to take the fight at Bankwest Stadium on December 16.

Hunt fronted the media as part of the announcement of a huge bout with Paul Gallen at Bankwest Stadium in December. It will feature in a double-header boxing extravaganza co-headlined by Tim Tszyu’s fight with New Zealander Bowyn Morgan.

Before commenting on his upcoming fight, Hunt was asked about his current one with the UFC.

He initially filed the original lawsuit in 2016 and amended it in 2017, alleging that UFC president Dana White and Brock Lesnar worked together to allow the latter to fight Hunt at UFC 200 while using performance-enhancing drugs.

In 2019 the state of Nevada ruled in the UFC’s favour on all accounts.

Hunt’s legal team then reportedly brought an appeal forward to the dismissed case which accused Zuffa and Lesnar of racketeering, fraud and battery among other offences.

The 46-year-old suggested his legal battle was still ongoing and at one point even asked not to be referred to as a former UFC fighter.

“I don’t feel I got a fair go with that company,” he said.

“Making it to the top of any sport you should get a fair go but I feel I got cheated by these guys totally. Gallen Hunt fight stream

“They cheated me out of the end of my career and I’m walking my walk in the courthouse.”

Gallen, 39, who has 10 professional fights under his belt and remains undefeated (9-0-1, 5 KOs), is comfortable enough with his boxing skills to deal with the physical imposition. Even against a beast like Hunt, 46, who became the UFC's walk-off knockout king during a fearsome career in the cage.

"I'm actually surprised at how relaxed I was yesterday [at the fight announcement]," he said.

"Sometimes you go to those events and you get a bit nervous but i was really relaxed, really focused. I felt good there.

"It's going to be a huge challenge for me, I've got no illusions about that. This guy's got experience coming on 30 years and has been knocking blokes out all around the world, so I know what I'm up for. watch Gallen Hunt fight online

"But I just think that he's had his time. He's a legend of the sport but he's a legend for a reason - you're a legend because you're at the end of it. I think I can beat him."

Gallen vs Hunt is a co-main event for rising super-welterweight star Tim Tszyu's headliner fight against Bowyn Morgan.

Paul Gallen and UFC star Mark Hunt Boxing blockbuster confirmed game

NRL icon Paul Gallen vs Hunt live stream and UFC beast Mark Hunt are finally going to lock horns as part of a huge boxing blockbuster in Sydney.

It’s official: Paul Gallen vs Mark Hunt is on.

The NRL legend and UFC monster are going to punch each other’s lights out as part of a boxing blockbuster in Sydney in December.

The event, scheduled for December 16 at Bankwest Stadium in Parramatta, will be headlined by Tim Tszyu, who is fresh off a dominant win over Manny Pacquiao’s conqueror Jeff Horn.

The undefeated Tszyu, who well and truly stepped out of the shadow of his famous father Kostya with his victory over Horn in August, will face New Zealand’s Bowyn Morgan as the mouth-watering double header spearheads the first boxing event in a Sydney stadium since 2006. how to watch Gallen vs Hunt

Gallen, the former NSW Origin captain who played nearly 350 games for the Sharks, is undefeated in the ring but will face his toughest test yet against heavy-hitter Hunt.

The pair have been engaged in a war of words as speculation about a fight between them ramped up, and now they’ll finally get to settle their differences with their fists.

The 46-year-old Hunt, who has faced the likes of MMA beast turned WWE star Brock Lesnar, hasn’t fought in the UFC since 2018, when he lost a heavyweight bout to Justin Willis.

He hasn’t boxed professionally since 2000 and has eight wins and eight losses in his UFC career.

Gallen, 39, last fought in November when he slugged things out against AFL icon Barry Hall for a majority draw.

“I’m going to get hit at some stage. How hard and clean he gets me remains to be seen,” Gallen said.

“To jump in the ring with someone like Mark Hunt is going to be exciting. But to beat him and have my hand held up is going to rank highly.

“I’m confident I can win. I’m really confident. I won’t be able to hurt him, look at him, but I’ll win on points.”

Tszyu enhanced his reputation with a thunderous demolition of Horn earlier this year, and now boasts a 16-0 record with 12 knockouts. watch Hunt vs Gallen fight in Australia

His next opponent hasn’t lost a fight in four years and will enter the ring in Sydney on the back of three straight KOs.

NSW Tourism Minister Stuart Ayres announced the event on Wednesday morning.

“Sydney Super Fight joins an impressive list of major sporting events that have been secured for our state through the NSW Government’s tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW,” Ayres said.

“With Sydneysider Tim Tszyu, son of Australian boxing legend Kostya Tszyu, in the ring against the Kiwi champion, this will be a contest that boxing fans won’t want to miss, and I have no doubt Sydney Super Fight will be a sellout. Hunt vs Gallen Live Stream free

“Major events like Sydney Super Fight are key to the recovery of our state and we look forward to welcoming the contestants, officials, support staff and their fans to Western Sydney for another big night on the NSW sporting calendar.
